nopus

An extension for coding agents such as Pi, Claude Code and Codex that runs deterministic prose checks on a completed response and sends it back for one clearer rewrite when it crosses a configured complexity threshold.

nopus

nopus examines an AI coding agent's finished response and measures properties such as uncommon or very uncommon word choice and abstract vocabulary used without concrete people, objects or actions, for example flagging "commence the task" in place of "start the task". Because the checks are deterministic, the same text and sensitivity setting always produce the same decision, and when a rewrite is requested the original response is hidden from the terminal transcript by default, though it stays in the session and model history.

It installs as a Pi extension from npm or a GitHub reference, as a Claude Code plugin added through a marketplace command, or as a Codex plugin added the same way; Claude Code and Codex use a Stop hook to trigger the rewrite. Commands let a user check status, toggle the extension, adjust strictness, or control whether the original response stays visible while streaming.

  • Provenance gate

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
