Nora

A self-hosted control plane for operating fleets of OpenClaw and Hermes AI agents on infrastructure the operator controls, deploying to Docker or Kubernetes with lifecycle management, live logs and a terminal, budgets and scheduled runs, and encrypted secrets.

Nora

Nora provisions OpenClaw and Hermes agent runtimes to Docker or Kubernetes, both generally available with an official Helm chart, and gives an operator full lifecycle control: deploy, start, stop, restart, redeploy and view version history. Existing runtimes can be migrated in from uploaded bundles, and a privileged local-Docker live pull is available to self-hosted administrators. An operator surface provides streaming logs, an interactive terminal into a running container, a file browser and editor, and the OpenClaw gateway and Hermes dashboards embedded directly in the interface.

Monitoring covers per-agent metrics and cost with a fleet-wide roll-up of agents that are errored, stuck, over budget or reporting stale telemetry, alongside user-defined alert rules delivered to a chosen channel; per-agent LLM budgets can hard-cap spend with auto-pause, and recurring cron schedules queue and retry agent runs. Provider API keys are encrypted at rest, and production refuses to start without a valid encryption key unless an operator explicitly enables a plaintext override; Kubernetes deployments get baseline network-policy isolation, and an experimental hardened sandbox isolates untrusted code.

It is written in TypeScript, self-hosted, and licensed under Apache-2.0.

  • Drop

    droprun.sh

A rootless Linux sandbox for developers, built on user namespaces with optional gVisor isolation, that confines coding agents and third-party packages without leaving your normal work environment.

  • minienv

    github.com

Reads an existing docker compose file and deploys it as a remote preview environment with little setup, with optional public endpoints and authentication so others can review in-flight work.

  • Rig

    npmjs.com

Gives each coding agent, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, its own cloud Linux desktop with a running dev server, tests and a signed-in Chrome, so the developer's laptop stays free while several agents work at once.
