Open Data Product Standards Knowledge Base

A practical knowledge base and Python SDK for the OpenDataProducts.org standards family (ODPS, ODPC, ODPV and ODPG), with FAQs, reusable YAML examples, and SDK guides for validating, generating and automating data product specifications.

Open Data Product Standards Knowledge Base

This repository documents the Open Data Product Standards family through FAQs grouped by specification, each paired with reusable YAML examples for specs, catalogs, vocabulary, contracts, pricing, access, SLAs and data quality. It also hosts the Open Data Products Python SDK, published on PyPI as open-data-products, which installs with pip and is used to validate, generate and automate workflows for ODPS, ODPC, ODPV, ODPG and ODPR recipe specifications from local projects or continuous integration.

Nineteen self-contained SDK guide folders cover setup, validation, vocabulary helpers, ODPG conversion, local LLM configuration, and LLM-based generation workflows, alongside local recipe examples for validation, dry runs, guarded execution, run manifests, agents and CI. Additional resources include a toolkit, visuals, a whitepaper and Udemy training courses covering the standards, SDK workflows, monetization and governance.
