OpenAnalytics

OpenAnalytics is an open-source, self-hostable web analytics platform that tracks page views, funnels and revenue without cookies or cross-site profiles, and includes its own MCP server and command-line tool.

OpenAnalytics

OpenAnalytics ships a lightweight browser tracker script with a byte-size budget enforced in continuous integration, no cookies, and no cross-site visitor profiles; identity behind a visit is a salted hash that rotates nightly, so a tracked path is only ever as long as one visit. It is built as a pnpm monorepo of services: a collector that validates, sanitizes, rate-limits and enqueues events, a worker that drains the queue into ClickHouse and produces sessions, rollups and exports, a query gateway that is the only process allowed to read ClickHouse and verifies signed query requests, a realtime service behind the live dashboard, a Next.js dashboard, and a command-line tool for site setup and stats.

Features include page views, custom and attribute-driven events, sessions, web vitals, funnels, per-site retention, embeddable widgets, public share links, revenue analytics pulled from a user's own Stripe account, CSV and JSON import and export, an AI assistant, and the MCP server. Data is split between Postgres for the control plane and ClickHouse for events and rollups, with two Valkey instances for a durable event queue and a separate realtime cache.

It is self-hostable under the AGPL-3.0 license, or usable as a hosted instance running the same code on the maintainers' own servers.
