OpenAPI Provider Spec Generator

A CLI tool that transforms an OpenAPI 3.x specification into a Terraform Provider Code Specification, which can then be used to generate Terraform provider code.

OpenAPI Provider Spec Generator

The OpenAPI Provider Spec Generator reads an OpenAPI 3.x specification together with a generator configuration file and produces a Provider Code Specification, an intermediate format that Terraform's Plugin Framework Code Generator can turn into actual Terraform provider code. It is installed either by downloading a release binary or through the Go toolchain.

Example generator configurations, OpenAPI specifications, and their corresponding Provider Code Specification output are included in the repository's test data for reference. The project is explicitly described as a tech preview, not intended for production use.

It is written in Go and released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0.
