OpenClaw

An open-source AI assistant that runs on your own machine and answers in chat apps such as Slack, Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp, with swappable model providers.

OpenClaw

OpenClaw is a self-hosted AI assistant. A local Gateway process manages sessions, tools, events and channel connections, and the assistant reaches you through more than 20 messaging services as well as native apps for macOS, iOS, Android, Windows and Linux.

State, memory and credentials stay on your hardware. Models and agent harnesses, including Claude, Codex and local models, are plugins that can be swapped without other changes. A Control UI, CLI and TUI connect to the Gateway, and tools, skills and plugins extend what the assistant can do.

It is written in TypeScript and installs with a script or from npm.
