OpenCompany

An early-stage operating layer for one-person businesses that coordinates a roster of specialized agents, such as scouts, engineers, designers, marketers and finance, as a single deliberating hive rather than independent agents taking turns.

OpenCompany

OpenCompany is built as a company runtime: a durable host stands up a roster of specialized agents, gives each a clear mandate, and lets each one think as part of a hive rather than as a lone agent handing off a ticket down a line or a fan-out system that wakes many agents and averages their replies. The stated goal is for a single operator to stay where a human is irreplaceable, capital, taste and decisions that matter, while the hive of scouts, founders, engineers, designers, marketers, lawyers, finance, support and recruiter agents handles everything else.

It runs on top of two other runtimes it builds on, OpenHuman and TinyHumans, and is distributed as a self-updating desktop app for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, or can be run in Docker or from source. The project states plainly that it is a work in progress under active development, with APIs, the CLI and documentation still subject to change, and that it is not production-ready.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
