OpenDeviceHub
An open-source iOS Simulator replacement that restores the classic one-window-per-device Simulator workflow after Xcode 27 replaced it with Device Hub, adding deep links, push notifications, proxy certificates and a scripting CLI.
OpenDeviceHub connects to the same simulators Xcode installs and gives each one its own resizable, always-familiar window again, after Xcode 27 replaced Simulator.app with Device Hub. It restores precise scaling modes, familiar keyboard shortcuts, and per-device controls for actions such as Home, Lock, volume, rotation, Siri, restart, erase, iCloud sync and setting a custom location.
An odhub command-line tool, bundled inside the app and optionally linked onto the PATH from the app menu, drives a device from a script; odhub doctor reports environment issues and odhub list shows available simulators. Input support includes tap and drag, trackpad pinch and rotate, typing through the Mac keyboard connected as the device's hardware keyboard, and swipe gestures for Home and the app switcher, and foldable devices such as the iPhone Duo are shown bent at the hinge with cover, half-open and fully-open states.
It installs from a signed, notarized DMG and updates itself from the app menu.
