OpenFang

An open-source agent operating system, written in Rust, that runs autonomous agents on schedules around the clock rather than only responding to a typed prompt, compiling to a single binary.

OpenFang

OpenFang is an open-source operating system for autonomous agents, built from scratch in Rust rather than as a chatbot framework or a wrapper around a language model. It runs agents on schedules, continuously, building knowledge graphs, monitoring targets, generating leads, managing social media and reporting results to a dashboard.

Its core unit is the Hand, a pre-built autonomous capability package that runs independently on a schedule without being prompted. Each Hand bundles a manifest declaring its tools, settings and dashboard metrics, a multi-phase system prompt acting as an operational playbook, a skill reference with domain expertise, and guardrails that require approval before sensitive actions such as a purchase.

The entire system compiles to a single roughly 32MB binary, installed and started with one command. The project is pre-1.0 and still changing between minor versions, so its maintainers recommend pinning to a specific commit for production use.

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
