OpenOmni

An open-source omnimodal large language model that combines image, speech and text understanding with real-time, emotionally expressive speech generation.

OpenOmni

OpenOmni is an end-to-end, fully open-source omnimodal large language model that incorporates image, speech and text together. It generates speech through a language-bridging approach with text-guided speech generation, designed to train with limited omni-modal data and GPU memory.

It supports two real-time emotional speech generation modes, a CTC mode and an autoregressive mode, letting a user choose a balance between generation speed and quality. Its design has been applied to downstream tasks such as speech-embodied navigation and multi-role speech dialogue.

It is implemented in Python, installed from source with Conda, and the paper, code, models and datasets are released alongside the repository.

    github.com

A continual learning language model that trains from scratch on a single 8 GB VRAM GPU, assembling its own architecture and adapting its size to the hardware and data available rather than shipping as a fixed pretrained model.

  • An open-source contrastive-embedding pipeline that maps technical CVE vulnerability descriptions to formal cybersecurity compliance controls in NIST SP 800-53 and CMMC, published with its model generation, fine-tuning and evaluation code.

    github.com

A small vision-language model, fine-tuned with LoRA on a 500-million-parameter backbone, that answers typed multiple-choice, ordinal-score and yes/no questions about an image with calibrated probabilities, in about 400 milliseconds on a laptop.
