OpenWiki

A CLI that turns a codebase and related knowledge sources into a linked Markdown wiki, kept up to date by a coding agent and grounded in versioned source evidence for each fact.

OpenWiki

OpenWiki builds a linked Markdown wiki from a codebase and its knowledge sources, so a coding agent can use it to understand a repository, answer questions, and find context across related projects, while a person can read the same pages or browse them as an interactive graph.

It tracks each fact in a repository wiki back to the source evidence it came from, so later updates can focus on what actually changed, and completed pages survive interruptions during a run. Multiple repositories can be grouped into linked wiki workspaces that can be searched together, including through MCP, and native runs can document several pages concurrently while adapting to a model provider's rate limits.

It runs inside an existing coding agent, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode, reusing that agent's authenticated model session, or as a standalone CLI for repository documentation, personal knowledge and scheduled updates. It installs from npm and requires Node.js 22.22 or newer.
