# OTAIP

An open-source platform that models the full airline and hotel booking lifecycle, search through settlement, as typed, testable AI agents whose pipeline contracts are meant to prevent hallucinated bookings.

OTAIP, the Open Travel AI Platform, models the full airline and hotel booking lifecycle as typed, testable agents: search, pricing, booking, ticketing, exchange, refund and settlement. It uses a pipeline-contract system meant to prevent an LLM from hallucinating a step in a money-carrying workflow, with 77 agents and 18 of them pipeline-contracted.

It ships six distribution adapters spanning GDS, NDC, low-cost-carrier, aggregator and hospitality channels, each built on a shared base adapter with rate limiting, circuit breaking and safe-versus-unsafe retry, and a CLI for listing agents and validating or running a search. It is written in TypeScript in strict mode, includes a large test suite, and needs an Anthropic API key to run its full pipeline demo.
