PaLM + RLHF - Pytorch

A PyTorch implementation of Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) on top of the PaLM architecture, aimed at replicating a ChatGPT-style training pipeline in the open.

PaLM + RLHF - Pytorch

This project implements Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) on top of the PaLM architecture, intended for those interested in replicating something like ChatGPT in the open. It first trains a PaLM autoregressive transformer, then trains a reward model from curated human feedback, and passes both to an RLHFTrainer; fine-tuning the reward model can optionally use LoRA.

It installs with pip install palm-rlhf-pytorch, and its README notes a potential successor approach, Direct Preference Optimization, under which the repository's core logic reduces to roughly a binary cross-entropy loss. Outstanding work tracked in the project's todo list includes adding Hugging Face accelerate and wandb instrumentation.

    github.com

A continual learning language model that trains from scratch on a single 8 GB VRAM GPU, assembling its own architecture and adapting its size to the hardware and data available rather than shipping as a fixed pretrained model.

  • An open-source contrastive-embedding pipeline that maps technical CVE vulnerability descriptions to formal cybersecurity compliance controls in NIST SP 800-53 and CMMC, published with its model generation, fine-tuning and evaluation code.

  • peekaboolean

    github.com

A small vision-language model, fine-tuned with LoRA on a 500-million-parameter backbone, that answers typed multiple-choice, ordinal-score and yes/no questions about an image with calibrated probabilities, in about 400 milliseconds on a laptop.
