# pi-ollama-cloud

A provider plugin that adds Ollama Cloud as a model source for the Pi coding agent, with dynamic model discovery and web search and fetch tools through an API key.

pi-ollama-cloud registers Ollama Cloud as a model provider for the Pi coding agent. It fetches the current model list and per-model details such as context length and capabilities directly from Ollama's API, and it ships a small built-in fallback list so models are available immediately after installation, with the live catalog refreshed automatically afterward.

The plugin adds two tools, one for web search and one for fetching and extracting the text of a web page, both backed by Ollama Cloud's own endpoints. It also maps the agent's thinking levels to Ollama Cloud's reasoning-effort settings and registers per-token prices from Ollama's pricing page, so cost tracking stays comparable to other providers even though Ollama Cloud itself is billed by subscription.

It installs from npm or directly from its git repository.
