Plausible Analytics

An open-source, privacy-first web analytics tool that avoids cookies and personal data, available self-hosted or as a managed cloud service.

Plausible Analytics

Plausible Analytics is an open-source, privacy-first web analytics tool positioned as a lightweight, cookie-free alternative to Google Analytics, available as a managed cloud service or a self-hosted community edition. It does not store personal data or IP addresses and does not use cookies or persistent identifiers, and the project describes it as compliant with GDPR, CCPA and PECR.

The dashboard puts key metrics on a single page without custom reports or deep menus, and works with modern single-page app frameworks, including pushState and hash-based routing. Goals, conversions, revenue attribution and funnels can be tracked through custom events and dimensions, and outbound link clicks, form completions, file downloads and 404 pages can be tracked without extra code.

Events can also be sent directly to Plausible's API, and stats can be exported through a stats API or as CSV, letting teams build custom workflows and integrations on top of their analytics data. A Google Search Console integration adds keyword data to the dashboard.
