# Prism Coder

An MCP server that gives Claude, Cursor and other AI coding tools persistent session memory across restarts, routing simple tool calls to a bundled local model fleet instead of the cloud and reporting the tokens saved.

Prism Coder keeps session memory that survives restarts, letting a project resume with handoff notes, recent work and open TODOs at a configurable level of detail. It ships its own open-weight model fleet, from 2B to 27B parameters, used for fast offline tool-routing, automatically selecting a size based on installed models, available RAM and context fit.

A savings meter reports, in tokens rather than an estimated dollar figure, how much work was served locally instead of reaching the cloud model, printing its assumptions and known undercounts alongside the number. Route-output enforcement returns only well-formed tool calls that the connected host actually advertised, and a single connect command configures Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Codex at once while preserving their other settings.

It requires no account or API key to run locally; a paid subscription adds cloud sync, higher model tiers and team features.
