Pyrometheus

A command-line code generator that turns a Cantera combustion mechanism file into Python, C++ or Fortran source implementing that mechanism's thermochemistry.

Pyrometheus

Pyrometheus generates chemical-mechanism thermochemistry code from a Cantera mechanism file, targeting Python, C++ or Fortran as the output language. It installs from PyPI or Spack and runs as a command-line tool, taking a mechanism file, an output path, a namespace and an optional phase name, and writing the generated source to the given output file.

The project accompanies a published paper and provides a citation for use in scientific work; it is licensed under the MIT license.
