Raganork-MD
A lightweight WhatsApp bot framework with multi-session support, a plugin system and group management tools, rewritten from the original Raganork project.
Raganork-MD is a lightweight framework for building WhatsApp bots, supporting single or multiple simultaneous login sessions and an extensive plugin system for adding commands. Built-in functionality includes group management tools, media downloading and caching and session management, and a bot can be controlled with commands such as listing available commands, checking response time, or restarting and shutting down under a sudo user's control.
A bot session is authenticated through a session string rather than scanning a QR code each time, and cloud deployments on platforms such as Render, Koyeb or Railway need a PostgreSQL database URL for persistent storage, while VPS deployments can use local file storage instead. Configuration, including the bot name, command prefixes and language, is set through environment variables.
The project needs Node.js 20 or newer, Git, FFmpeg, Yarn and PM2, and notes plainly that it relies on unofficial WhatsApp Web API methods, which can lead to a temporary or permanent account ban; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp. It is released under the GPL-3.0 license.
