Ragnar

A network scanning and vulnerability assessment tool for wired and Wi-Fi networks, running on a Raspberry Pi or a headless server, with a web dashboard for discovery, threat intelligence, and offensive-security testing.

Ragnar

Ragnar is a fork of the Bjorn project for autonomous network scanning, vulnerability assessment, and offensive security testing across the OSI layers. It runs on a Raspberry Pi with an e-paper display, as a headless server on Debian-based systems, or on a WiFi Pineapple Pager, and units can work individually or in a mesh, delegating memory-heavy scans to a capable peer.

A web dashboard gives real-time discovery and vulnerability scanning, a multi-source threat-intelligence view, file management, and system monitoring, with a WiFi configuration portal for onboarding new networks. Core scanning covers host and port discovery with per-host ignore lists and Nmap-based vulnerability checks, every run logged.

Advanced scanning adds Nuclei, Nikto, SQLMap, WhatWeb, and Nmap vulnerability scripts, with OWASP ZAP and parallel scanning available on boards with more memory. The project states it is for educational and authorized testing only, and is written in Python.
