Ray

Ray is a unified Python framework for scaling AI and general compute workloads from a laptop to a cluster, pairing a distributed runtime core with a set of AI libraries.

Ray

Its AI libraries cover Data (scalable datasets for ML), Train (distributed training), Tune (hyperparameter tuning), RLlib (reinforcement learning) and Serve (scalable, programmable model and LLM serving), while Ray Core provides the underlying abstractions of stateless tasks, stateful actors and immutable objects shared across a cluster.

The same code runs unchanged on a single laptop or a large cluster, on any cloud provider or on Kubernetes, and ships with a dashboard for monitoring running applications and a separate distributed debugger for troubleshooting them. A growing set of community integrations extends the ecosystem around it.

    github.com

A continual learning language model that trains from scratch on a single 8 GB VRAM GPU, assembling its own architecture and adapting its size to the hardware and data available rather than shipping as a fixed pretrained model.

  • An open-source contrastive-embedding pipeline that maps technical CVE vulnerability descriptions to formal cybersecurity compliance controls in NIST SP 800-53 and CMMC, published with its model generation, fine-tuning and evaluation code.

  • peekaboolean

    github.com

A small vision-language model, fine-tuned with LoRA on a 500-million-parameter backbone, that answers typed multiple-choice, ordinal-score and yes/no questions about an image with calibrated probabilities, in about 400 milliseconds on a laptop.
