Repomix

Repomix packs an entire codebase into a single, AI-friendly output file, for feeding a repository to large language models such as Claude, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Gemini or Llama. It formats the codebase so it is easy for an AI to process, provides per-file and total token counts for staying within a model's context limit, and respects .gitignore, .ignore and its own .repomixignore files.

Configuration lets a user include or exclude specific files, and a compress option uses Tree-sitter to extract key code elements so the output uses fewer tokens while keeping the code's structure. Secretlint scanning detects files that match known credential formats and leaves them out of the packed output.

It runs with a single command through npx, installs globally with npm, Yarn, Bun or Homebrew, or can be used directly from a browser. It is written in TypeScript and licensed under the MIT license.
