# RimZ

A realtime dashboard and control room for supervising a fleet of coding agents inside tmux or Zellij, showing each agent's state, task, context health and cost, with wakeups, budgets and supervised runs to build a harness on top.

RimZ is a lightweight binary that runs inside a Zellij or tmux session a developer already uses, adding a sidebar that triages a fleet of coding agents so one person can follow many agents at a glance and jump into whichever pane needs attention. Each agent gets a live card showing its working state and task, model and effort, context health and compactions, live token statistics and dollar cost, and its subagent tree, while the underlying agent CLIs and the user's own keybinds keep working unchanged.

On top of that visibility, RimZ provides primitives for what it calls harness and loop engineering: one command grammar across every supported agent, durable messages that steer and queue work, supervised runs with exit codes usable from scripts and CI, teams and subagents that split work across models, wakeups that trigger on a schedule or an event, and dollar budgets that bound spending; the guardrails and self-running loops built from those primitives are left for the user to define.

It is written in Rust, described as beta software, and is itself built using RimZ.
