RLCoder

A reinforcement-learning framework for repository-level code completion that trains a retriever to select reference code snippets that actually help generation, rather than merely similar ones.

RLCoder

RLCoder is the implementation accompanying an ICSE 2025 paper on reinforcement learning for repository-level code completion. Its core module, RLRetriever, is a retriever trained to disregard reference code snippets that look relevant but do not help generate correct completions, instead favoring ones that do.

The repository includes training scripts and several ablation configurations, such as disabling the stop signal or the perplexity weighting, plus a variant combined with RepoCoder. Trained retriever weights and the training and evaluation datasets are distributed separately. The code is written in Python.

A continual learning language model that trains from scratch on a single 8 GB VRAM GPU, assembling its own architecture and adapting its size to the hardware and data available rather than shipping as a fixed pretrained model.

  • An open-source contrastive-embedding pipeline that maps technical CVE vulnerability descriptions to formal cybersecurity compliance controls in NIST SP 800-53 and CMMC, published with its model generation, fine-tuning and evaluation code.

A small vision-language model, fine-tuned with LoRA on a 500-million-parameter backbone, that answers typed multiple-choice, ordinal-score and yes/no questions about an image with calibrated probabilities, in about 400 milliseconds on a laptop.
