Sage

Sage is an open-source agent platform for project work, tool execution, and multi-agent collaboration. Agents are composed from model, memory, storage, tool, and scheduling providers behind explicit contracts, and are declared as versioned packages with instructions, capabilities and runtime configuration in a sage.yaml file.

It supports stateful, interactive execution with durable session history, streamed events, and pause and resume with human approval, and coordinates multiple agents through directed messages between Studio members or composed Agent Flows. Its tool ecosystem combines built-in tools, reusable Skills, and MCP services in one workflow.

Sage runs the same underlying runtime through three hosts: a Desktop application, a multi-user Server with a web-based Agent Studio, or embedded directly into a Python application. Desktop is built with Python and Flutter; the Server additionally requires MySQL and Node.js.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
