SAGE: Situation-Aware Governance Engine

A research environment that wraps a frozen language model in a persistent identity, memory, trust and governance loop, testing whether an agent's capability can come from surrounding structure rather than model weights alone.

SAGE: Situation-Aware Governance Engine

SAGE explores turning a frozen language-model substrate into a longer-lived agent that accumulates context, remembers, allocates attention, uses tools, interacts with sensors, and acts under explicit governance, rather than behaving like a fresh stateless API call on every prompt. It sits in a broader Web4 stack, where Web4 itself provides persistent identity, contextual trust and witnessed action, Hestia governs local human and agent authority, and Hub governs the society or community boundary, with SAGE as the cognition and embodiment research layer.

The project is explicitly research-stage and states plainly what is measured, what is implemented but only thinly exercised, and what remains aspirational, rather than claiming an embodied, sovereign agent stack as a present capability. It is written in Python and targets edge hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson devices.

  • Recurse

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
