# SAP Cloud SDK for AI

The official SDK for SAP AI Core, SAP Generative AI Hub and the Orchestration Service, published as a set of TypeScript and JavaScript packages covering chat completion, foundation models, LangChain clients, orchestration, document grounding and prompt registry.

SAP Cloud SDK for AI is the official Software Development Kit for SAP AI Core, SAP Generative AI Hub, and the Orchestration Service. It lets an application integrate chat completion and use the generative AI hub's templating, grounding, data masking and content-filtering features, and set up an SAP AI Core instance from code.

It is published as several separate npm packages managed with pnpm: ai-api for managing scenarios, workflows, data preprocessing, training, batch inference and deployment in SAP AI Core; foundation-models for incorporating generative AI foundation models into SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad activities; langchain for LangChain model clients built on the foundation-model clients; orchestration for the orchestration service's capabilities; document-grounding for the grounding pipeline, vector and retrieval APIs; and prompt-registry, each installable independently through npm.
