Scriberr

A self-hosted, offline application that transcribes audio for people who run their own infrastructure and want to keep recordings private rather than use a cloud service.

Scriberr

Scriberr is an open-source, self-hosted audio transcription application. It runs entirely offline, keeping recordings and transcripts on the operator's own machine rather than sending them to a cloud transcription API.

It targets people who host their own infrastructure and care about privacy and performance rather than convenience. The project provides a website, documentation, and an API reference alongside the application, and development is active again after a pause while the maintainer changed jobs and relocated.

Scriberr is written in Go and distributed under the MIT license.
