SiliconScope
A sudoless Apple Silicon system monitor with a native SwiftUI dashboard and menu bar suite that tracks the Neural Engine, Media Engine and memory bandwidth alongside CPU and GPU metrics.
SiliconScope is a native SwiftUI system monitor for Apple Silicon Macs that needs no elevated privileges, pairing a dashboard view with a full menu bar suite. It adds first-class tracking of the Apple Neural Engine, Media Engine and memory bandwidth, metrics the project says Activity Monitor and typical terminal monitors do not surface, alongside more familiar CPU, GPU, memory, network, SSD, sensor and battery readings.
Each metric can be pinned to its own menu bar item in a choice of styles, such as bars, a history graph, two lines, a single value or an icon, and the same metric can appear more than once in different styles at the same time. A Replay feature records every metric during a session so it can be scrubbed back through afterward, and a newer version adds remote monitoring: running a small agent on another Mac, a Linux GPU machine or a rented cloud instance joins that machine's metrics, including full Neural Engine data, to the same dashboard over an encrypted, paired connection.
It also includes an on-demand benchmark for measuring tokens per second on local AI workloads. It is written in Swift and released under the MIT license.
