Skill Recorder
A desktop app that records an on-screen work session, uses the GitHub Copilot CLI to reconstruct it as an intent and ordered steps, and turns the result into a reusable skill or scheduled automation.
Skill Recorder captures a real work session on the screen: clicks, application and window switches, visited pages, and optionally command and output from a recorded terminal or spoken narration. It then uses the GitHub Copilot CLI to reconstruct what was actually done as an intent plus an ordered list of steps.
From that reconstruction, a single run can be turned into a Skill, a SKILL.md procedure an agent runs on demand, or an Automation, the same procedure run on a schedule or trigger. Both prefer an agent's native tools, such as the gh CLI or a web-fetch tool, over replaying UI clicks, and generalize from one recorded example so that submitting a single form can teach an agent to submit many similar ones. A review step can show the generated SKILL.md file, including its frontmatter, before installation or export.
It is distributed as a source release: one command downloads a pinned Node.js runtime and builds the app locally.
