Strands Base Agent

A baseline starter repository for production AI agent services, wiring the published foundry-agent-* packages (dependency injection, lifecycle, retries, OpenTelemetry, tool loading) into a runnable FastAPI-based service that teams fork and customize.

Strands Base Agent

Strands Base Agent is a starter template from the Agent Foundry team, meant to be forked into a team's own environment rather than run as-is. Shared infrastructure - dependency injection, lifecycle management, middleware, retry logic, OpenTelemetry tracing and tool loading - lives in separately published foundry-agent-* Python packages, and this repository is the composition root that wires those packages into a runnable agent service built on FastAPI.

By default the four foundry-agent-* wheels are pinned to GitHub Release URLs so a fresh clone works immediately for evaluation and demos; production deployments are expected to mirror the wheels into an internal package index such as Artifactory or CodeArtifact. The project includes a justfile for setup, linting, type-checking and tests, and documents how to configure the model, system prompt, MCP servers and Agent-to-Agent peers.

It requires Python 3.14 or later and the uv package manager.

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
