Supabase CLI

A command-line tool that brings the Supabase platform to a developer's terminal, running the full local stack, managing database migrations, deploying edge functions, and generating types.

Supabase CLI

Supabase CLI runs a local copy of the Supabase stack, including Postgres, Auth, Realtime, Storage, Edge Functions, and the Supabase APIs, and can link that local workspace to a hosted Supabase project. It creates and applies database migrations, compares schemas, and can bootstrap a new project from a template.

It builds, serves, and deploys Edge Functions from the same project workspace, and generates TypeScript types from either the local database or a linked hosted project. The repository is a pnpm monorepo with a published TypeScript and Bun CLI package alongside a Go CLI used internally.

It is written in TypeScript.
