TeaQL

A typed, auditable Rust database runtime and query builder built for AI coding agents, enforcing agent identity, declared intent, and redacted diagnostic logging around every database operation.

TeaQL

TeaQL is an AI-native Rust runtime for database-backed applications, built on the assumption that an autonomous coding agent, not only a human, will be writing and running the code. It provides a strict, typed, auditable Capability Sandbox for executing database operations, paired with the separate TeaQL Agent Kit, a harness that gives coding agents a model-mediated workflow for domain modeling, evaluation and repair, code generation, and evidence-based verification.

Every operation passes through a runtime UserContext that records whether it came from a human or an AI agent, and the compiler forces an agent to declare its intent with .purpose() for reads or .audit_as() for writes before it can call .execute().

Runtime diagnostic logs redact sensitive payload values by default across every sink; a single explicit environment variable can permit plaintext for controlled troubleshooting, and SQL without reliable field or literal provenance can be suppressed and marked not replayable.
