# The Vibe Coding Handbook

A curated, maintained guide to AI coding tools and platforms, organized as a decision guide by skill level and use case rather than a flat alphabetical list.

The Vibe Coding Handbook is a curated collection covering more than 300 tools, platforms and resources for building software by describing it to an AI agent rather than writing all of the code by hand. Rather than a flat list, it is organized as a decision guide: it groups tools by who is using them, from someone with no coding experience building a full app in plain English, up through developers who want a rich, AI-integrated IDE, and recommends specific tools for specific jobs such as full-stack web apps or landing pages.

For each recommended tool the guide explains why it fits a given use case, gives a short example of how to start with it, notes its limitations, and states its rough cost. The maintainer describes personally testing and verifying tools before they are added, and updates the guide as the AI coding landscape changes.

It is written in Python and released under the CC0-1.0 license.
