# universal-mcp-toolkit

An open-source monorepo of 31 production-focused MCP servers for services such as GitHub, Slack, Notion, databases and cloud platforms, sharing one strict-mode TypeScript core, one CLI for install and diagnostics, and consistent validation, logging and transport support.

universal-mcp-toolkit collects MCP servers for common developer integrations - GitHub, Slack, Notion, databases, cloud platforms, research sources and local files - into a single Turborepo-managed monorepo, aiming to fix a fragmented ecosystem where most existing servers cover one narrow integration at demo quality with inconsistent transport, auth and packaging. All 31 servers share one strict-mode TypeScript core, consistent Zod schema validation, structured error handling and pino logging, and support both stdio and HTTP-plus-SSE transports, each publishing a discovery-friendly .well-known/mcp-server.json server card.

A single CLI, installed globally or run through npx, handles install, configuration, running and diagnostics across every server, and can list any tool across all servers by name or category. A deterministic workflow command executes reviewable, versioned JSON workflows that compose multiple servers' tools together. It is one of three sibling projects, alongside a graph-based agent-memory project and a token-cost-control project, meant to compose into a fuller agent tooling and memory stack.

It also lists installation through a separate community registry for AI developer tools, CodeGuilds.
