# Unraid

A monorepo of Unraid server tooling: Python and Rust MCP servers exposing an Unraid box's GraphQL API for system info, Docker, VMs and notifications, plus OS plugins and Claude/Codex agent integrations that install them in one command.

This repository is a monorepo of Unraid tooling: two MCP servers, one in Python and one in Rust, that query, monitor and manage an Unraid server over its GraphQL API, three Unraid OS plugins, and the Claude and Codex agent integrations that surface them. The Python server, published to PyPI as unraid-mcp, is the flagship implementation; the Rust server, published to crates.io as unraid-rmcp and distributed as a compatibility npm launcher, is a single static binary alternative with its own CLI.

Supported operations include system information, Docker container management, VM management, array and parity status, notifications, plugin listing, rclone control and live telemetry. An Unraid OS plugin ships the Rust MCP server directly onto an Unraid box; a second plugin runs Incus system containers as firewalled dev containers with a NestJS and GraphQL backend; and a third embeds a Codex chathead app server.

Both agent plugins install through a single marketplace command that adds two manifests, one per language implementation; the repository itself was renamed from unraid-mcp to unraid, absorbing two previously separate repositories, though the published PyPI package, container image, Claude plugin and Unraid .plg file all keep the older unraid-mcp name.
