UnvibeCode

A tool that reverse-engineers a large or unfamiliar codebase into an end-to-end map of business workflows, connected code and evidence-backed risks, run from the command line against a local repository path with no API key required.

UnvibeCode

UnvibeCode reverse-engineers a complex codebase into business workflows, connected code, edge cases and evidence-backed risks. Reading a large codebase file by file, or pasting it wholesale into an LLM, loses the connections between entry points, state changes, dependencies, edge cases and business outcomes; this tool is built to reconstruct that bigger picture instead.

A single review command produces an HTML report with several linked views: a business workflow map reconstructed from the code, a connected-code map that traces imports, symbols and static relationships, with a preview on hover and a choice of narrow, optimal or wider downloadable packages sized for pasting into an LLM, and business risk findings tied to evidence in the analyzed workflows.

It runs from the command line on Windows, macOS or Linux, requires Python 3.11 or newer, and needs no activation key and no customer-supplied OpenAI API key; the repository path is the only required input.

  • Critic

    critic.run

A code-change viewer, backed by Y Combinator, built for reviewing work written by coding agents, presenting a plain-language narrative of each change alongside the diff and a running conversation with the agent.

  • GitIntel

    hoangsonww.github.io

An MCP server that computes git repository analytics such as hotspots, churn, temporal coupling, knowledge maps and risk scoring entirely from local commit history, for AI coding agents like Claude Code and Codex.

  • Axint

    axint.ai

A verification layer for AI coding agents working on Apple projects: it runs real Xcode builds and tests against the Swift an agent wrote, reconciles static analysis findings against that evidence, and returns a signed proof with the exact repairs still needed.
