Windows Security & Administration Cheat Sheet

A reference collection of Windows commands for system administration, security auditing and incident response, grouped into eight categories such as firewall, logs and persistence checks.

Windows Security & Administration Cheat Sheet

This cheat sheet collects Windows commands for system administration, security auditing and incident response, organized into eight categories: system security, user and privilege auditing, network visibility and connections, firewall and remote access, Defender and threat protection, logs and incident triage, services, startup and persistence checks, and integrity, hardening and recovery.

Each file lists commands with explanations, provided as reference material rather than a runnable tool. The author notes that some commands can modify system state, delete data or change security settings, and recommends testing in a safe environment before running them against production systems.

It was put together as a class assignment, drawing on Microsoft Learn documentation, HackTheBox and TryHackMe as references.
