# Xcode Build Optimization Agent Skills

A set of open-source Agent Skills that benchmark and optimize Xcode build performance across clean builds, incremental builds, compile hotspots, and Swift Package Manager overhead.

Xcode Build Optimization Agent Skills is a set of six Agent Skills for AI coding tools that benchmark and improve the build performance of an Xcode project. An orchestrator skill coordinates five specialist skills in a recommend-first workflow: it benchmarks clean and incremental builds, audits build settings, finds compile hotspots, and writes a prioritized optimization plan to a file, without modifying any project files until the plan is explicitly approved.

Once approved, a fixer skill applies only the approved changes and re-benchmarks the project to verify the improvement. The agent runs more than 40 individual checks across build settings, project configuration, source code, and package dependencies, and the resulting plan file can be shared with teammates and reviewed in pull requests.

It installs with the `skills` CLI (`npx skills add`) into an existing AI coding tool.
