XRobot PkgKit

A code-generation and package-management toolkit for embedded robotics projects built on the LibXR hardware abstraction layer, generating a C++ entry point from module configuration.

XRobot PkgKit

XRobot PkgKit is a set of automated code-generation tools for embedded systems such as STM32, designed to work with the modular LibXR hardware abstraction layer. It manages module repositories, extracts and configures constructor arguments, and generates a C++ main entry point from the resulting configuration.

Its features include cloning and syncing module repositories with recursive dependency resolution and version consistency checks, extracting constructor and template arguments from module header files into adjustable YAML configuration, auto-generating the XRobotMain() function to support multiple modules, instances, and nested argument structures, parsing module manifests for descriptions and dependencies, and scaffolding new module directories complete with headers, a README, and a CMakeLists build file. Configuration can be loaded from local or remote YAML files for consistent management across environments.

It installs via pipx or pip and provides command-line tools such as xrobot_gen_main for generating the C++ entry function.

A VRAM-aware GPU job scheduler for a single machine: declare how much memory each shell command needs, and it places jobs the moment a GPU has room and reports when a guess was wrong.
