Zero to GenAI Engineer

A free, open curriculum of notebooks, papers and hands-on apps that takes learners from beginner to production AI engineer over 17 weekly sessions.

Zero to GenAI Engineer

Zero to GenAI Engineer is a free curriculum built from 60 Colab-ready notebooks, 12 research papers and 21 browser-viewable slide decks across 17 sessions, with new sessions posted weekly. It covers retrieval-augmented generation with nine industry RAG briefs and 18 notebooks, LangGraph with five notebooks on graphs, human-in-the-loop and multi-agent teams, and a dedicated session on deep agents covering files, agent and skill definitions, tools and subagents.

Later sessions cover deploying an agent runtime on AWS Bedrock AgentCore with a full Cognito, React, FastAPI and CDK stack, and fine-tuning with LoRA and QLoRA using Unsloth. A capstone project provides a specification and a sample SQLite database for a dining-bot project. Example apps in the repository use Streamlit, FastAPI and React, and browser-based labs are available with no API key required.
