12306-mcp

A Model Context Protocol server that lets an AI client search China's 12306 railway ticketing system for train tickets, including filtered and transfer searches.

12306-mcp

12306-mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that exposes China Railway's 12306 ticket-booking system as a simple API an AI client can call. It supports searching available train tickets, filtering results by train information, and querying transfer routes and stopover stations, so a large language model can look up rail travel options on a user's behalf.

It installs by cloning the repository and running npm install, and runs as a command-line tool over stdio or HTTP, or inside Docker in either mode. The server requires Node.js 18 or newer, and its author describes the project as built for personal learning. A companion Agent Skill package for the same ticket search is published separately. It is written in JavaScript and licensed under MIT.
