1MCP
A unified MCP runtime that aggregates multiple MCP servers behind one server process, with a CLI mode that lets agents discover and run tools progressively instead of loading every schema up front.
1mcp serve runs one aggregated runtime in front of many upstream MCP servers, addressing both configuration sprawl, where every client needs its own MCP wiring and filtering rules, and agent sprawl, where a session carries too many tools and schemas into context. Static servers load at startup, while template servers are created per client or per session.
CLI mode adds a thinner, agent-facing workflow with instructions, inspect and run commands, so an agent for Codex, Claude, Cursor or a similar tool-using client discovers tools progressively rather than seeing a broad tool surface up front. Presets, filters and instruction aggregation keep one runtime adaptable across different clients and projects.
It also offers a stdio proxy for broader compatibility and direct streamable HTTP for MCP-native clients. It installs with npm install -g @1mcp/agent, and is written in TypeScript.
