Aegis Stack

An open-source CLI that scaffolds production-ready FastAPI applications and lets developers add, remove or update components such as auth, workers, caching and local AI inference without rewriting the project.

Aegis Stack

Aegis Stack is a command-line tool that scaffolds a FastAPI application with a guided, full-screen setup covering every component and service, or a faster classic prompt flow. Infrastructure components include a FastAPI backend on uvicorn or granian, a Typer CLI, a Flet system dashboard frontend, a server-rendered Jinja2 and htmx web frontend, Redis caching, Postgres or SQLite with SQLModel, local AI inference through Ollama, a Traefik reverse proxy, Pydantic Logfire observability, and S3-compatible object storage.

Business-capability services such as authentication, AI and payments can be added on top. Components and services can be added or removed at any point after scaffolding, and later framework updates merge into a project's edited files, flagging anything that cannot merge cleanly for manual review.

The CLI supports nine languages and installs with uvx, uv, or pip. It is written in Python and licensed under MIT.
