Agav

A terminal-native autonomous coding agent for real repositories, distributed as a self-contained binary that supports seven model providers and non-interactive use in CI.

Agav

Agav is a terminal-native autonomous agent that inspects code, edits files, runs tests and verifies changes on real repositories. It installs as a single self-contained binary with no Node.js dependency, and supports seven providers, including Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, NVIDIA NIM, Gemini, Vertex AI and Ollama, switchable mid-session with a slash command.

It runs interactively by default, or non-interactively for scripts and CI with JSON Schema output. Plans are created and tracked automatically, destructive actions require human approval, and commands run in a sandbox on macOS and Linux with per-tool permissions. API keys are encrypted and a local-first option keeps data under the user's control.

It is Apache-2.0 licensed and, as of this writing, an experimental beta under active development.
