agentty

agentty is a coding agent that ships as a single native C++ binary with millisecond startup, sends only retrieved, relevant code to the model instead of whole-repository dumps, and can switch between many model providers or run fully local through Ollama.

agentty

agentty is a terminal coding agent built as one static binary with no Node, Python or other runtime dependency, aiming for a cold start of a few milliseconds. Instead of sending large chunks of a repository to the model on every turn, it uses built-in retrieval combining BM25 keyword search, dense embeddings, code-aware chunking and GraphRAG to fetch only the slices of code that matter to the current task.

It is not tied to one model provider: it can use an existing Claude Pro or Max subscription, or connect to OpenAI, Groq, OpenRouter, Cerebras, DeepSeek, xAI, Mistral, Gemini, Fireworks or a fully local Ollama model, switchable during a session. Shell and build commands run inside a sandbox by default, and a session can be air-gapped entirely, relaying only encrypted bytes over SSH to a machine with no direct internet access.

It is open source under the MIT license, written in C++26, and also runs inside the Zed editor over the Agent Client Protocol.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
