AI Coding Assistant for Godot 4

A Godot 4 editor plugin that adds an agentic AI coding assistant with multi-session chat history, syntax-highlighted streaming markdown, file-context mentions, and one-click apply or undo of generated code changes.

AI Coding Assistant for Godot 4

This plugin adds an AI coding assistant dock to the Godot 4 editor, with a full agentic system that gives the assistant project context, can patch files, and can run semantic search over a project, alongside swappable expert personas for chat, planning or coding modes. Conversations are stored persistently across multiple named sessions, auto-named from the first prompt and renamable or deletable from the settings panel, and an at-mention autocomplete lets a user pull a project file's contents directly into a prompt.

Applied code changes can be undone instantly through Godot's own undo system if the suggested edit turns out to be wrong, and responses render as code blocks with syntax highlighting for GDScript, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Bash and C or C++, alongside fenced code, nested lists, tables and blockquotes in the chat markdown. It connects to a provider such as OpenRouter, Gemini, HuggingFace or Cohere through an API key entered in its settings panel, and the project notes that its automatic code-completion mode is not fully developed yet and can produce incomplete results on complex, multi-file tasks.
