It offers three ways to browse: a quick-find table that maps a task to a category and top picks, eight ready-made tool stacks for roles such as engineers, researchers, marketers and designers, and a full browsable index spanning five clusters and more than twenty categories.
Entries mark whether a tool is open source, runs locally, has a meaningful free tier, and which pick is the safe default for a given role, covering areas such as general assistants, coding, image and video generation, research, voice, productivity and local model runners.
