AionDB
A Rust database that speaks the PostgreSQL wire protocol and adds vector and graph access paths on top of the same catalog and on-disk storage engine. It is alpha software, not for production data.
AionDB is a database written in Rust with its own on-disk storage engine. It speaks the PostgreSQL wire protocol, so psql and common PostgreSQL drivers can connect to it, and it adds vector and graph access on top of the same relational catalog.
It supports tables, predicates, joins, transactions, indexes and PostgreSQL-style catalogs, plus VECTOR and HALFVEC columns with pgvector-compatible casts, HNSW and IVF-flat vector indexes, and node and edge labels layered over ordinary tables for graph queries. It ships health, metrics, diagnostic and backup commands, a guided setup command, and Docker Compose files for running the server alongside a Studio interface.
The project is at version 0.5 and described as alpha software not intended for production data.
