Aivy OS

A local AI companion for Windows, macOS and Linux with persistent per-project memory, an integrated code editor, and 30 or more built-in tools, positioned as a personal alternative to general-purpose agent frameworks.

Aivy OS

Aivy OS is a local-first AI agent that, by default, only trusts connections from the machine it runs on; remote access must be explicitly enabled with an access password, and authentication credentials are masked as soon as they are typed. Projects are registered once, after which every action inside that project's directory is automatically logged against it across restarts and conversations, and each failed tool execution is classified by type and reason so the agent can retry, choose a different approach, or report the failure rather than continuing silently.

Its toolset spans file editing with diff review and undo, a full-disk search built on ripgrep and fd, a persistent Python environment for data analysis, system monitoring, browser automation through Playwright, multi-engine web search, webhook handling for GitHub, Slack and email, screenshot and screen-recording capture, vision-based parsing of images, PDFs and tables, and editing of PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files without needing Office installed. It supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Ollama-compatible model providers and connects to Model Context Protocol servers, and is reachable through a web interface, WeChat, email and a desktop floating window.
