Anubis MCP

An Elixir SDK implementing the Model Context Protocol, providing both client and server support built on Elixir's concurrency and fault-tolerance model.

Anubis MCP

Anubis MCP is a fork of hermes-mcp that provides a complete Elixir implementation of the Model Context Protocol, covering both the client and server sides of the specification.

Version 2.x supports MCP spec versions 2025-03-26 through 2025-11-25, having dropped the earliest 2024-11-05 version; it also removed the deprecated HTTP+SSE transport in favor of Streamable HTTP. Deprecated features are kept working for at least one minor release with a documented migration path, and features are only removed in major releases.

It is added as a Mix dependency, and a client is configured under an application's supervisor with a chosen transport, protocol version and client metadata.
